42. Why Patch Testing Doesn't Work And Can We All Agree To Stop Charging Less?

Today we take on two topics we see discussed on Instagram and in Facebook groups: patch testing and price-fixing. We have been doing lashes for over 15 years and have worked with some of the top doctors in Southern California to figure out what is going on with the cyanoacrylate glue allergy. While patch testing sounds like a great idea, we go into why it really doesn't help you find out who is allergic to the glue and worse it can actually destroy the trust you have with your client. We also discuss why trying to get everyone to agree to not charge below a certain dollar amount is the wrong strategy in making you more money in your business. It really doesn't matter if other lash stylists are charging less than you...what you need to focus on is giving your client the best value so you can charge double what your competition charges.
