44. We Talk to Courtney Buhler About the Ulta Deal That We Think is a Huge Win for the Lash Industry

Courtney returns to the LashCast studios to talk about the huge deal between Ulta Beauty and Sugarlash Pro. At first glance, some lash stylists might feel this will hurt our industry or they might feel envious of the deal...but we feel this deal is an amazing opportunity for not just Sugarlash Pro but for our whole industry. Paul and Tussanee break down why they think this will actually open up more doors for all of us in the lash industry. We also discuss some of the details of the deal and how sometimes even when you hear a "no" as an entrepreneur, that is really when the work begins. Courtney goes into detail how she turned a "no" from Ulta into a "yes" by sheer grit and determination. While we all wish all our ideas would take off and be a huge success, Courtney also shares about one of her failures from last year when Sugarlash Pro launched a salon franchise idea and it didn't quite take off the way they had hoped.
