Episode 123 - Pulled by Fate

We live in fateful times, when the fate of the world is connected to and affected by the fate of our individual souls. Michael Meade begins this episode with some core ideas about human fate: "Freedom isn't the absence of limitation or an escape from necessity; rather it is the conscious living out the hand that fate deals us.  Liberation happens each time we become conscious of the contents of our soul."  Following a story of the Old Woman who knows our fate and destiny, we learn that "there is no school for becoming oneself except for allowing the inner pattern of the soul to live its way out." In the end, we must accept the ways in which we are fated and aimed at life.
