Episode 139 - Ashes and Storms
Living Myth - En podcast af Michael Meade - Onsdage

Kategorier:
This episode begins in the midst of the devastating fires that continue in the Amazon Rainforest and the catastrophic deluge resulting from Hurricane Dorian.
Michael Meade returns to the Amazon myth of the apparent destruction of the world in order to draw out the idea that in times of great change, the new order of life must be found in the depths of disorder that threatens the Earth.
Ancient myths of re-creation suggest that when humans have played a part in upsetting the balance of life and causing the degradation of nature, then humans must also have a part in helping to heal the Earth and revive her essential eco-systems.
