Episode 142 - Uncharted Waters

Living Myth - En podcast af Michael Meade - Onsdage

Michael Meade begins this episode by observing how the phrase “uncharted waters” has just been used to describe the new U. N. report on the melting of ice sheets and glaciers, but also to describe the whistle blower hearings regarding the Trump Administration.

Taking the pattern of disruption and upheaval happening in nature and culture at the same time, Meade introduces the old idea of a liminal period in time. After describing the ways that we are all betwixt and between the world that was and the one we are hoping to find, Meade turns our attention to the necessity of learning how to use intense emotions to navigate the troubled waters we are all in.
