Episode 145 - Living Through Chaos

Living Myth - En podcast af Michael Meade - Onsdage

"Cosmos means implicate order and chaos means chasm or disorder," Michael Meade says as he addresses the increasing chaos in the world that includes both turmoil in nature and upheaval in culture. After describing how a person can feel small and alone when faced with chaos and disorder, Meade draws upon cosmology to describe how chaos and creation are secretly connected.

A key point in understanding the deepening confusion of the modern world involves accepting that the new form of the world can only be found in the depths of disorder. To illustrate these ideas, Meade tells the ancient story of how the first pilgrim on Earth falls out of the dream of the world and into the ocean of despair, before finding a way back to the dream of life.
