As the entire culture suffers from the loss of truth, and congress struggles with issues of corruption and justice, young people can become caught in the shadows of despair. On this episode, Michael Meade addresses the shocking increase in youth suicides as well as the loss of elders as representatives of truth and meaning. Meade contrasts the presence of negative elders who diminish rather than enhance life, with the old idea of elders being willing to sacrifice aspects of themselves for the benefit of younger generations coming along, as well as the health of the earth.
