McAnally just recently celebrated his 37th #1. He has written songs for artists Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves to name a few. McAnally was named Songwriter of the Year by the Academy of Country Music in 2014 and Hot Country Songwriter of the Year by Billboard in 2015.
