John Norcross is Distinguished Professor and chair of psychology at the University of Scranton and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He also maintains a part-time practice as a clinical psychologist. He is the author of Changeology and co-author of Changing for Good. Professor Norcross has served as president of the American Psychological Association Division of Psychotherapy, the Society of Clinical Psychology, and the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration. He has received many awards, including the APA’s Distinguished Lifetime Contributions to Education & Training Award.
