A. punk band Backstage Pass and Alejandra Villegas of Sangreal Records.  Born in East Los Angeles, Alicia Velasquez - Alice Bag - was an important part of the 1977 LA punk scene with her band The Bags, which often played at the legendary Masque in Hollywood.  Through the years, she has continued to perform, produce, and tour, while raising a family, teaching, writing books, and leading pandemic punk rock exercise classes! Alice’s wisdom and passion is inspiring. “I am a person of color. I am a daughter of immigrants. I am queer. I am feminist. I don’t shy away from a fight. I’m an American. I resist.
