Episode 35, speaking to Dave Spiers of GForce Software who specialise in modelling vintage synths as virtual instruments - bringing classic synths such as the OSCar, MiniMoog, Mellotron and ARP Odyssey to life, while faithfully re-imagining their design. He was behind the PhatBoy, a MIDI controller which completely changed the landscape of controllers for both home and pro studios in the mid-90s - bringing 14 knobs for tweaking parameters on your favourite synth and sound modules.
