438 - Hold Finance and Accounting Accountable

There are very few entrepreneurs who love accounting and finance.  For must of us, looking at the numbers is something that makes us feel uncomfortable.  If that's where you are right now, you are not alone. Personally, we use an outsourced finance and accounting company. This is generally a fantastic option for us, however, you still need to be involved and paying close attention.  If something doesn't look for feel right, call out your finance team.  Question them so that you understand what is really going on. Make sure that you hold them accountable.  It is the job of your finance team to make you feel comfortable and to make sure that you understand exactly what's happening with your money.
