Leading in the New Normal

Since the move to our home offices, many of us can hardly be found at our "old" workplace. There are colleagues at METRO who have been in the office maybe just three times since March 2020. Of course, this also poses new challenges for our managers. Until now, almost all means of leading employees and teams have been based on direct human contact. But since interactions have become almost exclusively screen-based, managers and their teams have to find new ways to lead as well as to be led. In this episode, I talk to Maren Gerhäuser-von de Fenn from the House of Learning, METRO AG, about what these new ways are and what good leadership in the new normality can look like.
