This week on Moscow Mules and NOP Slides, we have Marissa Russo (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marissa-russo-45380b71). Marissa keeps it local to Pittsburgh and drinks a Hitchhiker (@Hitchhikerbrew) Subsurface All Berry out of a Dancing Gnome (@DG_Beer) Nordic glass. She talks to us about her journey into cyber security from coding BattleBots to her current role as an IT security consultant. Marissa is also the CCO of the non-profit Womxn in Tech Pittsburgh (WITPGH) (https://www.womenintechpgh.com). "WITPGH is a community of women, womxn, non-binary folks, and allies championing for the diverse and inter-sectional experience in tech." We discuss barriers of entry for the community of women, womxn, non-binary folks. We then dive in topics of privacy and cyber hygiene. Our special co-host, filling in for David (@ireversethings) this week, is Deana (@deanashick). She sips on El Mayor Reposado Tequila out of Save the Beer Whalez (@savebeerwhalez) HopBuster (@Ghostbusters themed) Rastal Harmony 40 Tumbler glass. Kyle continues on his IPA journey with DIPA called Green Iguana from Ever Grain Brewing (@evergrainbeer) out of a 8-bit Double Dragon themed Spiegelau IPA Glass from The Answer Brewpub (@TheAnswerBrew). Thank you to Marissa for being a guest and the great conversations! If you would like to get involved with WITPGH please go to their website at https://www.womenintechpgh.com.
