Sharenting with Beth Eve

This weeks episode is with the awesome Beth (@Betheveline). Beth is a mum of one to Nom (not short for nomstopher - if you listen to the episode you will understand!) and is also one half of the dynamic duo that is Yellow Sunday Digital (@yellowsundaydigital - https://yellowsundaydigital.co.uk/). In this episode we talk all about sharing our journeys of motherhood online (aka - Sharenting). Beth talks about the decision to not show her sons name or face online and I talk about my changing experiences with sharing Skye, including why I started 'sharenting' in the first place. This episode is all about different perspectives, there is no wrong or right answers its all about finding what you are comfortable with - but in doing that there are some really interesting discussions to be had! I also speak about some articles I read in preparation for this episode and you can find those links here: -        https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/instagram-facebook-and-the-perils-of-sharenting -        https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/05/opinion/children-internet-privacy.html-        http://www.open.ac.uk/research/news/sharenting-        https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2013/may/18/pros-cons-of-sharentingThank you again for listening and for all of the love on the first episode - remember all feedback is welcome (good and constructive!) and you can find me on @meghanwalshblogs on instagram or email [email protected]! Enjoy the episode!
