In this episode Adam Smith speaks to Esther Duflo about how her drive to understand and fight poverty began at an early age. Esther Duflo received the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2019 together with Abhijit Banerjee and Michael Kremer for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.
