Confidence Building and Discovering a Visual Identity with Zuzu - Noisy Women The Podcast

Zuzu is an incredible artist from Liverpool, creating noisy, infectious tunes which show her passion and love for guitar riffs.  Writing music from the age of 7, she has had a love and drive to become a musician for years, signing her first publishing deal by the age of 18.  Zuzu has had an incredible career so far, touring with artists such as The Courteneers, Yonaka and Ten Tonnes. I’ve known of Zuzu for years, she is good friends with my lovely pal Lauran Hibberd so I reached out via Instagram to see if she’d be keen to have a natter.  I was thrilled when she agreed as I think her strong opinions and thoughts about the music industry would make a wonderful addition to the series.  In this episode we talk about her time touring with The Courteeners and how it shaped her world as a female musician within the industry, we also discussed how important her fans are to her and how she communicates with them via Facebook.
