#11: Shang Chi faces Nneka the Pretty Serprent in a Battle Royale
On this episode we talk about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest offering Shang Chi, which we both believe to be average despite the critical acclaim it's received. We lament about the remake of the 1994 Nollywood classic , 'Nneka the Pretty Serprent', a movie bogged down by terrible direction, slow and stilted dialogue , pacing and a questionable lead whose lack of experience is evident. Finally, we discuss the 2000 cult classic 'Battle Royale', a movie that one of us believes is a cultural touchstone in today's media while the other hand thinks its "alright" but respects its impact.
