Luca Pisaroni - In conversation with the bass baritone

Parlando - Der Operntalk - En podcast af Bernhard Hansky

Kategorier:

The bass baritone Luca Pisaroni is on the top of an international career which started 2001 in the austrian city of Klagenfurt singing one of his now most famous roles - Mozart's Figaro. He has now sung more than 150 performances of that very role and is still not afraid of more to come. Although he was born in the hometown of maestro Giuseppe Verdi himself one will hardly find any Verdi in his otherwise big repertoire. He prefers to present his abilities in Mozart, Händel and even german songs, what really makes him an italian singer being totally non-italian. How the environment you grew up in shapes you, why Mozart is a phenomenal voice teacher and how realizing not being a tenor was one of the biggest disappointments in the life of Luca Pisaroni you will hear in the newest episode of "Parlando - opera talk"
