Dear listener, as you are likely aware, protestors in Iran are demanding the government respect their fundamental rights to self-expression and freedom. The government responded to their demands with a violent crackdown. Instead of a regular episode, we discuss the protests through Shervin Hajipour's song Barayeh. The song reflects the frustrations of many young people living in Iran whose wishes are suppressed by their government.
