Crushed Dreams To Successful Businessman and Investor - Felipe Mejia #19

Felipe Mejia tells his story on how his original goals and dreams were crushed, but then had a new lease on life, making him a successful investor and businessman.  A few episodes ago, we got to hear the story of one half of our hosts on the show. In this episode, we feature the other half, Felipe Mejia. Growing up, Felipe never fully fit in with any one crowd in grade school because of his background and ethnicity. And to make matters more interesting, he wasn’t always the most well-behaved kid either. So much so that he even had to transfer into alternative school for selling drugs in 10th grade. Several years later when Felipe was pursuing what he thought was his dream career in law enforcement, he was denied the opportunity almost entirely because of his race. But once he got over the initial shock, he was able to open his mind to the new opportunity and set his sights once again. And that’s where we meet Felipe in this episode. It’s safe to say that the setbacks he had early on in life set him up to live a life of financial freedom today. Up to date, Felipe owns over 30 units valued at about $2M. Along with hosting this podcast, he is a coach for the Rat Race To Fi Mastermind.
