Born out of brotherly competition with his cousin, at the ripe age of 21, Justin Hannah bought his first property out in the Bay Area which served as his primary residence. Obviously, Justin had his priorities straight…  But before Justin ever had a thought about investing in real estate, he was just trying to get his life on track. He dipped his toes in the military, worked in a grocery store, and at some point found his way into the lineman trade (which he worked as for several years before transitioning full time into real estate).  He’s left his home state, came back, and left again. He’s made money and lost money. The theme of Justin’s story, like most entrepreneurs, is one of trials and triumphs. And that’s where we meet Justin in this episode.   Up to date, Justin has sold off his six properties in California and is growing his 12-unit portfolio in Idaho. He’s done various different strategies thus far and is now focused on off-market acquisitions for buy-and-hold rentals. And along his quest to 5,000 units, Justin also hosts the Real Estate Investing 365 Podcast.
