Postpartum rage and why we need to talk about it with Karla Torres

Today I sat down with Karla to talk all about rage in motherhood. Karla shares her story and why we need to be talking more about our emotions so we can break down the walls that prevent us from connection.  “I am a Mama to a toddler. I had every intention to give birth on my terms and raise my daughter without judgment, guilt and comparison. My experience was anything but that and this led me down a path of unfamiliar territory where I experienced extreme anxiety that ultimately led me to rage.” Karla shares “no one told me about postpartum rage and it wasn't until I was finally coming out of it that I recognized it was an actual thing happening to many mamas on a global scale.” Now Karla helps  mama's go from postpartum rage to navigating motherhood with confidence and on their terms. She teaches mamas the tools she used to get to a place of understanding and compassion. “I teach them to stand in their power and get back to the joys of motherhood.” Mama on purpose is a Facebook group Karla created for postpartum mama's and new mama's of all stages that are struggling with Anger and Rage in motherhood. This space to help moms identify the triggers and give them the awareness to redefine the anger as information and get back to the joys of navigating motherhood on their terms.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/3133936989967391/ Connect with Nicole: https://nicoleweston.ca/
