Ep.14 Mirela Sula | Empowering Women

In this episode I’m joined by Mirela Sula, CEO and Founder of Global Woman Magazine and Global Woman Club. Mirela has worked in media and education for the last 20 years and has a speaking experience from all around the world. Her background is in psychology and counselling, journalism, teaching, coaching, women’s rights, and media training. Mirela is also the organiser of the Global Woman Summit and Global Woman Awards. She has appeared on London Live TV, BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour, Sky TV and has also been featured in the 'Evening Standard' and 'The Guardian' and her last self-help book ‘Don’t Let Your Mind Go’ was a best seller and also published in America and Turkey. Mirela shares her experiences and motivations behind launching the Global Woman Club from empowering all women to directly impacting those who are in abusive relationships. She shares what it means to be an ‘empowered woman’ and breaks down the hidden power she believes is inside every woman. She shares with me a wonderful story of a woman who reluctantly took the stage at one of her events and, as a direct result, was offered international speaking opportunities. We talk about her books, starting from her experiences as a psychologist, becoming too attached to her clients (going as far as to provide financial aid to a woman who’s partner gambled) and the realisation that she could have a greater impact. As we talk about her truly inspirational story, from coming to London with her children with just 3 months of savings she gives us some incredible advice; perfect for someone who needs help with their vision and for women who are struggling to find who they are.
