On Ron's Amazing Stories! In this episode, Ron reviews Louis L'Amour's novel The High Graders. We follow this with two listener stories: Keenan's time slip tale and Raygan’s baffling story of synchronicity. Both are amazing! Our featured story comes from the OTR series Tales of the Texas Rangers. While not a western it is a crime drama about a bad man’s poor choices. All of the stories in this series are based on true Texas Ranger case files which technically makes them True Crime! So Ron gives his thoughts on True Crime and its place in our society. Featured Story - Logger’s Legacy Our featured story comes from the western series Tales Of The Texas Rangers. The series was produced and directed by Stacy Keach Sr. He hired real life Texas Ranger Captain Manuel “Lone Wolf” Gonzaullas as the show’s advisor. Each show followed the same format – an announcer would describe the situation. When the problem was discovered, the Texas Rangers were called in and Jace Pearson was assigned. Our story comes from the final season of the radio show and is titled Logger’s Legacy. It first aired on February 4, 1951.
