Do you work on character traits during your speech therapy sessions?    You may be wondering why this is important in speech since students are already working on this in the classroom.    We want the things we are working on in speech to align with what students do in the classroom so that they can keep up with what is expected of them. It isn’t always as easy for our students as it is for other students and that’s where we come in.    In this episode of SLP Coffee Talk, I am sharing my tips and strategies for helping students understand character traits in my speech therapy sessions. Character trait practice doesn’t have to be hard or complicated, it can be as simple as helping students describe their favorite characters.    Tune in for fun and practical tips, strategies, and games that you can use in your therapy session with your students to help build their confidence back in the classroom.    Resources Mentioned:  Check out my character traits resource on TpT Read more about character traits on my blog   Full show notes available at www.speechtimefun.com/102   Where We Can Connect:  Follow the Podcast Follow Hallie on Instagram  Follow Hallie on Facebook Follow Hallie on PinterestSubscribe today and get access to my secret podcast filled with my juicy secrets for planning with ease for secondary speech students. 6 quick episodes that you can quickly listen to and feel refreshed and inspired! https://speechtimefun.com/secondarysecrets
