Smart Sex, Smart Love -Jared Boot on Asexuality

This week’s show is about Asexuality. Did you know only about one percent of the population identifies as asexual? My guest, Jared Boot, explains what an isolating experience this can be. Jared, a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology, has a passion for asexual inclusion, diversity and equity. “How people talked about homophobia in the sixties, is how people talk about asexuality today," says Jared. He believes it needs to be more in today’s public consciousness, and he’s here to chat about how we can make that change.
