This week I virtually sat down with DJ, Fashion Industry Insider, and Founder of the clothing brand @ilikeyou, Isaac Hindin-Miller!  I now am so excited to be sharing this incredible conversation, blessed not only with a New Zealand accent but also with vulnerability, authenticity and wisdom.  Isaac moved to the United States in 2011 and quickly became involved in the New York City party scene.  After a few years of what may have seemed like the coolest life from an outside perspective, Isaac came to realize that he needed to readdress his relationship with alcohol and drugs in order to take charge of his life.  Today, Isaac is completely sober and, in this podcast episode, he works to dispel the stereotypes and clichés that the media continues to use when portraying alcoholism and drug addiction.   The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of people to reevaluate their relationships - relationships with significant others, relationships with friends, relationships with food, and relationships with alcohol.  In the loneliest days of quarantine, even I found myself reaching for a glass of red wine as if it were the only way to pass time in this new dystopian reality.  In this episode, Isaac challenges us to take a step back and consider whether or not we are using alcohol as a solution to a larger problem.  I have no doubt that you all will not only enjoy our conversation but also take away some important points for your own reflection.   To keep up with Isaac, you can follow him on Instagram at @IsaacLikes_ and see his cool merch at @ilikeyou!  (P.S. Keep an eye out for an exciting collaboration coming soon!)
