Known for his driving, energetic, and atmospheric sound, he’s established himself as a force in modern techno, both behind the decks and in the studio. His self-titled imprint launched in 2015 with a series of EPs, leading to guest spots on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure.🔊 His debut album, Vistār (2019), and follow-up Patanjali (2022) received acclaim from Mixmag and Groove Magazine, who recognized him as one of their top 30 producers for 2022/23. 2023 marked the launch of his label AMTK+, a platform for artists that inspire him.💫 With appearances at Berghain, De School, Fabric, Fuse, Khidi, and Printworks, Amotik’s reach continues to grow. His SPND20 Mixtape marks a return to his roots, diving into house music—a rare mix under the Amotik name and his first official house release. It’s packed with tracks he used to play, even including one of his own early productions. Though he doesn’t often play house, recent closing sets at Panorama Bar have shown his range, and this set brings that energy home, recorded on 3 XDJ1000s + Xone96 mixer.
