Breaking Free From Mean Girl Energy: Overcoming Jealousy and Comparison

In this podcast episode, we're talking about something that I'm sure many of us have experienced: why some women can be mean to each other. Of course, it's important to note that not all women are like this, but it happens in certain situations. We delve into some possible reasons. For example, society has historically pitted women against each other, especially in regards to looks. This can create competition and insecurity, which can lead to poor behavior. We also explore how women can be socialized to use passive-aggressiveness as a way to communicate, as well as how different societal pressures can impact how women interact with each other. To combat this, we need to actively challenge societal norms, encourage more direct communication, and create safe spaces where women can support each other. We also dive into the topic of jealousy and how it can develop as a natural response to feeling threatened or vulnerable. It's a fascinating discussion, so let's get into it!   Affirmations: I am secure in who I am and what I have, and I trust that I am on my own unique path. I celebrate the success and accomplishments of others, knowing that their achievements do not diminish my own. I choose to focus on gratitude for what I have in my life, rather than dwelling on what I lack. I recognize that everyone has their own struggles and challenges and I strive to approach others with kindness and empathy. I am confident in my own abilities and strengths, and I believe tha there is enough success and abundance for everyone. Journaling Prompts: Who do you secretly covet? What is it about their life or situation that makes you feel envious? Can you describe the sensation of jealousy that you experience? Is it a burning sensation in your chest, a knot in your stomach, or something else entirely? Reflecting on your jealousy, what does it reveal about your values, desires, and insecurities? Have you encountered similar feelings of envy in the past? What triggered those emotions, and how did you handle them? Would you consider your envy to be a friend or foe? Is it helping or hindering your growth as a person?   Get in touch with us: ☪ Instagram: @SpirituallyMePodcast ☪ Instagram: @DulceCandy ☪ Instagram: @SweetSoul ☪ Podcast Website ☪ YouTube: Watch the video episodes! ❤ W R I T E  T O   M E  ❤ Dulce Candy, Inc. 3940 Laurel Canyon Blvd Suite 243 Los Angeles, CA 91604 Support the podcast: Follow/Subscribe, then Rate/Review Spiritually Me! on Spotify and Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen.
