Hotez, M.D., Ph.D. is Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and Professor of Pediatrics and Molecular Virology & Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine where he is also the Director of the Texas Childrenâs Center for Vaccine Development (CVD) and Texas Childrenâs Hospital Endowed Chair of Tropical Pediatrics.  He is also University Professor at Baylor University, Fellow in Disease and Poverty at the James A Baker III Institute for Public Policy,  Senior Fellow at the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at Texas A&M University, Faculty Fellow with the Hagler Institute for Advanced Studies at Texas A&M University, and Health Policy Scholar in the Baylor Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy. He is the author of Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachelâs Autism: My Journey as a Vaccine Scientist, Pediatrician, and Autism Dad Poverty and the Impact of COVID-19: The Blue-Marble Health Approach and most recently Preventing the Next Pandemic: Vaccine Diplomacy in a Time of Anti-science Most recently as both a vaccine scientist and autism parent, he has led national efforts to defend vaccines and to serve as an ardent champion of vaccines going up against a growing national âantivaxâ threat. In 2019, he received the Award for Leadership in Advocacy for Vaccines from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Hotez appears frequently on television (including BBC, CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC), radio, and in newspaper interviews (including the New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal). The showâs material revolves around how she told everyone that she was never going to have kids, and then unexpectedly found herself expecting at âan advanced maternal age.â Inside Joke can be found on Amazon and iTunes, along with her two other comedy albums, Bangs!and As Is. Finnegan is perhaps best known as one of the original panelists on VH1's Best Week Ever and as Chad, the only white roommate in the âMad Real Worldâ sketch on Comedy Central's Chappelle's Show. Additional television appearances as himself or performing stand up have included âConanâ, âThe Late Late Show with Craig Fergusonâ, "Would You Rather...with Graham Norton", âGood Afternoon Americaâ and multiple times on The Today Show and Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and on History's I Love the 1880s. He hosted TV Land's game show "Game Time". As an actor, Finnegan portrayed the supporting role of "Carl" in the film Eden Court, a ticket agent in "Knight and Day" and several guest roles including a talk show host on "The Good Wife". In October 2006, Finnegan's debut stand up comedy CD titled Two For Flinching was released by Comedy Central Records, with a follow-up national tour of college campuses from January to April 2007. âAu Contraire!â was released by Warner Bros. Records in 2009.
