This week I sat down for a bass hang with Josh Paul. An L.A native now living in Nashville, Josh a former bassist with funk metal giants Suicidal Tendencies has a strong following on social media and is busy not only writing and playing with rock band Daughtry but is also getting ready to release the debut Zenith Devine album which is funk collaboration with Doobie Dukes. Whether performing live and co-writing in Daughtry, creating the funk with Zenith Devine, doing sessions, penning songs for other artists as part of CO:OP, or leading his solo project, Josh Paul unlocks an undeniable, unbreakable, and universal groove. The Los Angeles-born and Nashville-based multi- instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, and producer tapped into that rhythm during his formative years, and it echoes throughout his illustrious career to this day.
