He has global responsibility for the organization’s physical and logical security programs and corporate IT. Bill’s team also supports remote hosting and cloud datacenter operations in seven countries. Bill joined Cerner in 2005 as a senior manager of Infrastructure Operations. Before becoming CIO in 2016, Bill held a variety of executive positions within the enterprise. Prior to joining Cerner, Bill spent 17 years in various IT roles spanning retail, nuclear, and fossil power generation industries. Bill has been recognized by Computerworld as a Premier 100 IT Leader. He serves on the board of advisors for Hewlett Packard Enterprises and Intel Corporation. Bill graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture & Economics.
