Today’s guest is Drew Manning. Drew is a personal trainer, a New York Times Best Selling author and a podcast host. He is most notably known for his “Fit2Fat2Fit” journey where he purposely gained and lost over 60 lb to better understand himself, his clients and what it actually takes to achieve and maintain weight loss.   We get into to the why, how and what of his weight loss journey as well as the lessons gained from doing it. I ask him if there was ever a moment where he was ready to give up and what he learned from the client perspective about the complexity of weight loss. Drew gets super vulnerable as our convo shifts into talking about his struggles with porn addiction. We discuss including how it’s evolution, how he overcame it started, how it evolved, how he overcame it and the role that religion played. Drew shares some specifics including tools he uses with his clients to help them optimize their mindset and overall health. We also chat about co-parenting and how he healed his relationship with his ex-wife after his infidelity and his porn addiction lead to their divorce.
