PODCAST - Andy Murray, Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski

Welcome to another podcast and this week, although the tennis news out of the UK has been up and down, we are sticking with the Brits. There’s been good news for Andy Murray, the former world number one has scored a morale boosting win against old rival Rafael Nadal at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi. Great also to see Nadal back in action. We’ll hear from Andy later in the programme and we also hear from doubles player Neal Skupski, but we start this time with Andy’s brother, Jamie Murray who’s had a frustrating week. It is no mean feat putting on any tennis event and as Tournament Director and player he would have been looking forward to the Battle of the Brits more than anyone until it was postponed on Friday, the latest sporting victim of Covid 19. The tournament will be pushed back to 2022, which, on the plus side, gives him even more time to pick up ideas and tips from other events, which is exactly what he was doing when he spoke with Barry Cowan at the recent Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
