Colorado-based Journalist and Documentary Filmmaker Julian Rubinstein is receiving a lot of acclaim for his book "The Holly," an excellent tale of gentrification and violence in a Denver neighborhood. He's also directed a film (titled "The Holly") which will screen at the Denver Film Festival on November 10. Rubinstein talks with Bret about the challenges he's faced in putting the project together.
