Catechism Fridays Mini Episode 21: The Catholic Catechism and Abortion

Continuing on the topic of tough and controversial social teachings of the Catholic Church, Christine discusses abortion.  Covered under the Fifth Commandment "Thou shalt not commit murder," abortion is a mortal sin that disrespects the human life that God created in the image of Himself.  We are valuable and our Creator loves us, no matter what size or stage of development we are in. For women who have had an abortion or for anyone who feels they have been hurt by abortion,  healing, mercy, and forgiveness are all available to you through the Catholic Church.
