Survival Mode. It’s no fun. I spent yeeears of my life trapped in it. As a teacher, I thought that was just the way it had to be.   Does any of this sound familiar? Wake up. Get dressed. Wake the kids up. Get them dressed. Grab a coffee and a granola bar. Get the kids in the car. Drop them off at daycare. Head to school. BLINK. (AKA: Do 2,345 things at school.) Head back to daycare. Head home. Make dinner. (AKA: Find something frozen to heat up.) Clean up from dinner. Get the kids ready for bed. Try not to fall asleep during bedtime stories. Stare at my teacher bag. Stare at my mountain of laundry. Decide that there’s no way I could get caught up with #AllTheThings, so I might as well go to bed.   That was my daily routine. It didn’t really feel like a “life.” It felt more like a neverending Groundhog Day. But I learned the hard way that it didn’t have to be like that. It took too many panic attacks, ongoing anxiety, losing too much weight, gaining too much weight, and getting sick All. The. Time. to wake me up. When I finally realized (and believed) that I could create a different kind of life, everything changed. And it all started with one baby step. I solved one small problem. And then another one. And another one. Until I was breathing easier. Feeling better. Finding more time. And being present for my everyday life rather than just going through the motions. If you’re ready to say goodbye to Survival Mode, I know you can do it. Do you believe you can? Do you wanna know how? In this episode, you’ll learn: The real life superpower you can develop (no matter how busy you are) in order to keep #AllTheThings running smoother than ever at home and school. The best place to start when you’re ready to eliminate the most annoying or frustrating parts of your home or school life (that YOU have control over). How to plan for (and take action on) a new system or process that will instantly lift a ton of stress off of your shoulders. If the first frustration you’d like to tackle is your meal & grocery list planning, I’d love to share one of my biggest sanity savers with you. It’s called Plan To Eat, and it will save you loads of time and stress. No more headaches over trying to figure out what to make for dinner each week. No more agonizing over making that grocery list.
