Our Guest: Katisse Buckingham

Katisse Buckingham plays tenor, alto, soprano, baritone saxophones; flute, alto flute, bass flute, and piccolo flute. In his own words, he ”endeavors to break down barriers between musical genres and has always resonated with Duke Ellington’s famous quote, ’There are two kinds of music - good music, and the other kind.’” Katisse has performed and/or recorded with several well-known artists and has played on numerous films including (improvising) the ”Jazz Flute” scene for the Will Ferrell film Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
