38. TWS01 - Why Libertarians Tend to Suck and Ancaps Tend to Suck Absolutely

The Weekly Stirner [00:01:15] The State is "Other People": Why Libertarians Tend to Suck and Ancaps Tend to Suck Absolutely [01:02:55] Readings from Stirner's Ego and His own Week 1: "All Things are Nothing to Me" On this first installment of The Weekly Stirner, I give a shot of penicillin to the liberal strain of world-reforming, self-crucifying nonsense in contemporary libertarian thought. In so doing, I push the definition of THE STATE--the bugbear of all libertarian philosophy--to its origins in the cravenness of the human character. The State is, in the end, just other people. And in order to hate the state, we must identify what it is that we hate; and in so doing, I tend towards an amusement with the current schismatic ideals of the various libertarian creeds, which pretend that this character could be eliminated, such that the State could ever dissolve into nothingness and historical memory.
