In 2015, the United Nations and the World Health Organisation set out their blueprints to eradicate Tuberculosis by 2030. TB is a potentially deadly bacterial disease that, despite being preventable and curable, kills just over a million people around the world every year. The disease is prevalent in India, where one person dies every 90 seconds from TB. In 2017, the Indian government announced their plans to eradicate TB by 2025.
