EP 49: The 4 Agreements of Courageous Conversations

Welcome to episode 49 of The Equity Experience Podcast! One of the things I often hear from educators is that they need support in having 'difficult' conversations with their colleagues, parents, or students regarding topics of race, diversity, belonging, etc. I offer a reframing of 'difficult' conversations to that of 'courageous' conversations to shift our thinking so that we show up more courageous, more authentic, more boldly, and even more vulnerable in conversations that may not be easy to have.   In this podcast, I reflect on Glenn Singleton's framework of 'courageous conversations' in my work as I support educators' and leaders' growth in becoming more equitable and inclusive individuals.  You are invited to tune in with an open mind and an open heart :) Source: Glenn Singleton's, "Courageous Conversations about Race". ******************************************************************************** The Equity Experience Podcast is brought to you by Dr. Karla Manning, Founder & CEO of The Equity Leadership Group, LLC.   We are a team of educators, scholars, and consultants dedicated to helping educators and school leaders achieve educational equity with our training, coaching, and strategy planning services.
