Guest: Vladimir Kozlov is an novelist and filmmaker. He’s written over a dozen fiction and non-fiction books and the winner of the Made in Russia award for literature in 2013 and nominated for GQ Russia’s Writer of the Year in 2011 and 2012. His most recent books translated into English are USSR: Diary of a Perestroika Kid and 1987 and Other Stories. He’s also the director of several films, including Traces in the Snow, a groundbreaking documentary about the influential Siberian punk rock movement of the 1980s.
