A doctor who has lived with type 1 diabetes for years explains the benefits of a vegan diet for the disease.   Dr. Brian Carlsen shares his journey of adopting a plant-based diet in order to improve his health. It was a decision that would ultimately help him thrive as a father and as a reconstructive hand and microsurgeon.   He joins “The Weight Loss Champion” Chuck Carroll on The Exam Room Podcast.   Dr. Carlsen will be speaking at the 2022 International Conference on Nutrition in Medicine in Washington, D.C.
