Tracy Phillips has spent most of her career with the NZ Police, working across the North Island and involved in dog handling, Search and Rescue, as an LGBTIQ+ ally, police professional conduct and as the Area Commander for Whangarei Te Tai Tokerau. In 2019 she joined the SPCA as their GM Inspectorate. Tracy was made a MNZM in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2018 and also won a bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games high jump."Very simply my advice to anyone is when an opportunity comes up, take it. And when you get those opportunities, take them, work your butt off and get more opportunities."
