There was also a free valuation day at Simon’s local town hall where he got to appraise a 14 karat gold brooch with jade leaves woven into it, a pair of teardrop cloudy jade earrings, and Simon also found out the secret of a long and happy marriage. Harry has gripes with high street gold scrappers and also with himself for being so good at his job.
