Nanette Newman is a household name…and though she has had a huge career, she is far from slowing down. At 82 she’s written many children's books including a brand new one alongside Lindsay Branagh, the illustrator and co-visionary. Lindsay is also the wife of the incredible Kenneth Branagh. Together they created The Importance of being Ernest the Earwig, a tale of a friendly earwig who wishes he could be in storybooks and so sets out burrowing into all the classic, like Peter Pan, embedding himself into the artwork. Lindsay and Nanette are the perfect duo, we are thankful to have the both of them here in to chat about the book… and it is true we are biased as Nanette is also Emma's mum. But… yes, listen in!
