I'm so excited because I have special guest, Steph Weber, and she is the host of the podcast "As Told By Us". She's also creator of The Weber Company, and she is one of my new business besties. We met in a coaching group together, and I fell in love instantly. I got obsessed with her Instagram Reels and let's just say it was history since then. So Steph, welcome on. I just love you. I love your personality. I love everything about you. Steph Weber: Thank you. I appreciate that. Reels have been awesome for connections this year. So super fun, but I'm excited, so thank you. Kimberly Olson: Yeah. And I think that the thing is you stood out to me right away, right? Like there's something special about you. and I know you know that, but you also were very strategic about the way you're showing up with that special sauce. And my listeners are mostly network marketers, direct sellers, female entrepreneurs who really want to show up on social media, they really do. But they're getting stuck when it comes to that messaging and who they are. So do you mind first introducing yourself so listeners can get to know you? 'Cause there should be some newbies, a little bit about you, how you got into entrepreneurship and then found this zone of genius that you do currently. Steph Weber: Yes, absolutely. I would love to. So I have entrepreneurial spirits in my veins and my dad was an entrepreneur and so I've grown up around entrepreneurship. And when I turned 17, my parents were basically like, "we're going to get your car, but you have to pay for the gas. So if you want to be able to drive it places you need to have a job". So I knew that working in like the restaurant industry was not my gift. I knew that working necessarily in like a mall type setting, wasn't probably going to be what I wanted to do. So I started applying for small businesses that were in Indianapolis at the time. That's where I'm from. So I got a job as a sales associate with a local boutique there. And I worked with them all throughout college. I paid for school. Our family unfortunately lost our small business. Another reason why I'm so passionate about entrepreneurship and the dreams that these entrepreneurs have. Steph Weber: But anyway, my parents were not able to financially contribute to my college education. So I worked three jobs, maintained full-time student status, had a long distance boyfriend who is now my husband and was doing all of the things. So I've been running 120 miles an hour for basically my whole life. And that's just how I am. But, in working with so many different entrepreneurs and really figuring out what their need was when it came to branding and marketing and social media and all of these different pieces, I needed to figure out my zone of genius in terms of being able to help them. So I went to school for PR and advertising, learned about this idea of blogging. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thegoaldiggergirl/support
