The Lake ❤️Alice: Mitú

These years the club scene in Bogotá, Colombia, is blooming and getting into the more modern club music. But going north towards the Caribbean you will find that the traditional music is still highly maintained in the community of Palenque de San Basilio. In the duo, Mitú, the colorful and quirky synthesizer from the city meets the ancient and powerful Afro-Colombian tambor alegre (joyful drum) from the town. On the 1st of November 2019 Mitú performed at the venue ALICE with their powerful “techno palenquero” making the audience sweat massively as if they were dancing right in the middle of the tropics of Colombia.
