THE LAKE at Lydhør På En Søndag #5

'Lydhør På En Søndag' is a series of sound art concerts held in a small intimate garage in Aarhus, Denmark. This time, though, the location was changed to an old wooden stave-church outside of Aarhus. In this program we will meet the group Flamingo consisting of Chris Heenan, Adam Pultz Melbye and Christian Windfeld. We will hear excerpts from their concert in the church and have a talk about their minimal and textural approaches to music. And if you listen carefully, you will hear a little girl that felt a sleep, snoring on her fathers lab, you will hear insects accompany the three musicians and you will hear the silence and the intimacy in a room that slowly turned dark during the concert.
